Play! Pokémon announced the TCG - Standard format will rotate effective on Friday, 11 April 2025. Cards with the "F" regulation mark will no longer be legal in the TCG - Standard format. Cards with the "G" and "H" regulation marks will remain in the TCG - Standard format. Cards with the "I" regulation mark will be added to the TCG - Standard format starting with Scarlet & Violet--Journey Together. Older versions of cards that do not have a regulation mark can still be used if the card is currently legal for play in the TCG - Standard format.
The TCG - Expanded format will remain unchanged from the Black & White series to the present.
