Could someone explain the use of a Build & Battle kit used in a Pokémon TCG prerelease and the TCG - Limited format?
Pokémon TCG prerelease tournaments use the TCG - Limited format. In the TCG - Limited format, players play with 40-card decks from cards in a specific set. Decks can include five or more cards in the same name unless the card specifics only one can be used in the deck.
Build & Battle kits are used for prerelease events. They consist of a 40-card deck ready to be played and four booster packs of a specific Pokémon TCG set.
