Format: VG - Standard. VG - Standard is regulation set G.
Player ID: Each player is required to have a Player ID to participate in an official Play! Pokémon event. If a player does not have a Player ID, they may obtain one on the Pokémon website or on site before the event. A player must have a Pokémon Trainer Club account with an assigned Player ID to opt into Championship Series ratings and rankings.

VG Team Lists: Team lists are required for the event. They are recommended to be completed before registration.

What to bring? Players must provide their own games, devices, and power adapters.
Tournament Structure: Players will compete in 50-minute, best-of-three rounds of age modified Swiss followed by a top cut. The number of rounds will be determined by the age division with the largest attendance.
Prizing: Each player will receive two Pokémon TCG booster packs or the equivalent for playing at the end of the tournament. The top players in each age division will receive additional Pokémon TCG booster packs or the equivalent based on attendance. Players must be present at the end of the tournament to receive prizes.
Age Divisions: Junior (born in 2013 or later), Senior (born in 2009, 2010, 2011, or 2012), Masters (born in 2008 or earlier)
